We here, at My Dog Walker & Pet Sitting, are very excited to announce that we are taking part in a very special fundraiser program. The fundraiser program is called “Presents 4 Pets” and is organized & sponsored by NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters).
This article will go over the finer details of this amazing fundraiser program. This includes when the event is happening, what items you can donate, where to donate, and where the donations are going. We are very excited about this fundraiser program and we hope that you join us in giving back to pets in need.
When Is “Presents 4 Pets?”
The Presents 4 Pets fundraiser program is an annual event that takes place around the winter holidays. My Dog Walker & Pet Sitting will be collecting donations for this event from Monday, January 8th until Saturday, February 17th.
Where To Donate
We have several drop off locations setup for this event. They are located throughout the Medford, Medford Lakes, Tabernacle, and Shamong, NJ areas. Where you can drop off donations for this event will vary depending on where you are located. For more information about what drop off location is near you, contact Nancy Shaw at (856-217-2781).
What Items You Can Donate
For this donation program, we are accepting virtually any pet-related product. More specifically, we are looking for items that can be used by animal shelters and animal rescue groups.
Items we are looking for include toys, treats, blankets, towels, blankets, rugs, pet beds, bleach, cleaning supplies, leashes, collars, coupons, and newspapers. Please make sure that all products are clean and/or sanitized before donating them.
Where Your Donations Go
All donations collected for this fundraiser program will go to the Burlington County Animal Shelter. Located at 35 Academy Dr, Westampton, NJ, The Burlington County Animal Shelter serves as the rabies control center for the 40 municipalities of Burlington County.
They also provide adoption services for a wide variety of animals including spay & neutering. Additionally, they also help reunite lost pets with their owners throughout the Burlington County area.
